Q & A: True Conservative

Q: Mr. Hausman,

Rumor has it that you were a registered Democrat until last year. Is this
true? How can I trust that you are not just being opportunistic?

A: Barry,

Like so many Louisvillians, I was raised in a traditional Catholic Democrat
family (think JFK and Romano Mazzoli) who always voted pro-life and was
fiscally conservative as well. I have consistently voted
conservatively(Republican)for over 12 years now.

I remained a Democrat for two reasons, 1) it allowed me to vote in Kentucky
primary races and 2) I was not preparing to run for office/be a politician.

Bear in mind that Congressman Yarmuth not only was a Lifelong Republican and
had Local Republican Leadership, but was also a staff member of Republican
Senator Marlow Cook.

I can assure you that I am the most conservative candidate in this race and
I pledge to put principles before party once elected.
