Statement of Support: Hausman v. Lally

By admin | May 15, 2010

In response to several queries from family and friends regarding these two candidates, I have had a long conversation with Marilyn Parker this morning who sits on the board of the Louisville Grassroots T.E.A. party. Ms. Parker has attended most of the events where the 3rd Congressional candidates have appeared and debated; the most recent, last night at John E’s Restaurant. Some may remember Ms. Parker who spoke so eloquently at the first TEA party rally in 2009 addressing herself as “the mom without a teleprompter” and no one knows the issues or can articulate them better than she can – except Larry Hausman! She told me that this morning. — …

Statement of Support: From former competitor Marilyn Parker

By admin | May 14, 2010

My friends,

I wish all of you knew Larry Hausman as well as I know him… as the best candidate to represent the 3rd district. John YARMUTH will filet the other candidates. Larry Hausman has the depth and breadth of knowledge of the issues AND the constitution to expose Yarmuth for what he is, a detriment to our country. Larry is a man driven by faith and I cannot say that about the other three. Please offer him some of your time this week. It will be time well spent.

Statement of Support: Thank you for being a voice of reason

By admin | May 14, 2010

Glad to see a sane voice in the system! At first I was a bit apprehensive about voting for you, being a St. X. graduate, and I went to Trinity. Once I got past that, and really began to look into your stance on many issues, I have had a change of heart. It is […]

Q & A: Anti-Choice

By admin | May 14, 2010

Q: Mr. Hausman, I am an independent that has so far voted mostly for Republicans. I’m glad to say that we share many of the same opinions. However, I am pro-choice. I am personally pro-life, but believe that command over one’s own body is necessary. Although you are personally pro-life, Will you impose YOUR beliefs […]

Not An Endorsement…But Worth a Closer Look (Tea Party)

By admin | May 14, 2010

As a rule, TEA Parties across the country seek to educate and evaluate candidates and their campaigns but without offering an endorsement. To avoid misunderstanding, that remains our practice here, … …
And in our recent dialogs with 3rd District candidate, Larry Hausman (R), there is a recurring theme that is unmistakable: the Constitution and its principles as the proper and exclusive driving force in both crafting, voting on and implementing legislation that impacts all Kentuckians–and America as a whole. Mr. Hausman has been conspicously present at virtually every Louisville TEA Party since its inaugural Rally last April 15, 2009. When a candidate quotes the Constitution as the Bible of U.S. government and oft repeats that any power exercised by any elected Congressman is “derived from the consent of the governed” and that only within the confines of “enumerated powers,” he “gets” true conservatism.
