Hausman for Congress Farewell

Dear friends, family and supporters,

Never in my life have I felt so honored. More than 10,622 of you put your faith in me to represent you in Washington!

I appreciate every one of you and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your prayers and for sacrificing your time and money to this campaign. Thank you for standing up and working hard for conservative values. At every event and at the HQ I heard praises about the quality and character of my volunteers. You were incredibly encouraging to me throughout this challenging undertaking and I am indebted to you.

I am pleased to report that the money you contributed went farther in our campaign than in that of our competitors. We spent approximately $3 per vote earned. Mr. Lally spent more than twice that, and Mr. Reetz spent nearly $40 per vote.

I would like to leave you with this consolation: because of you, we were able to emphasize the importance of returning to Constitutional principles and the rule of law, without which our country cannot long stand. To that end, I would ask each of you to consider volunteering for and financially supporting the Louisville TEA Party. They are true patriots who are united in the cause for limited government and fiscal responsibility.

I also ask that you support Todd Lally. I believe he is a good man who can be counted on to vote conservatively. The same is true of Rand Paul and Hal Heiner. All are deserving of the same support you gave me.
